About Me
My name is Nick Weaver. I'm a former Design Editor for NC State's Technician and Roundabout student publications, as well as occasional graphic designer for WKNC and the NC State Student Media Business Office. I accumulated 3 years of professional design experience for these organizations and more while in college. I first learned how to use Photoshop in high school as a way to improve my abilities to design thumbnails for my YouTube channel at the time. Overtime, that initial itch to design would grow; I would lend myself to many projects in order to develop my talents and experience. These projects and positions helped to make both my high school and college experiences immensely more fulfilling. They have also allowed me to find my area of expertise in design, that of layout and publication design. I never knew that I would come to love it so much, but life is funny that way. Outside of the working world, I am a digital media enthusiast—that being a fancier way of saying I consume a lot of content on the internet. I'm still active on YouTube, but now as a consumer rather than producer. I'm very passionate about gaming and music, and I'm working towards honing my skills as an audio engineer and music artist. My next creative project is always just around the corner, but for now, I'm just trying to get a job where my skills as a designer can be fully utilized. If you think I might be a good fit for your company or business, please don't hesitate to click the "Contact Me" link at the top of the page and shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!
